If you are looking for an ophthalmologist, he is the one. Dr. Mahootchi has literally saved my life and has made exceptions to come in on his day off just to see me. He caught that I had other health issues going on and come to find out. I have had a heart attack and stage four kidney failure. I literally would trust my life with this doctor. I will never see anyone else he is top notch the best! He doesn’t play any games. He’s there for your health and knows what he is doing.

I had cataract surgery at The Eye Clinic of Florida by Dr. Mahootchi. He is a wonderful Dr. And professional. I opted for the panoptix lense replacement and am very happy! I can see better than I have seen for years! I’m still amazed that I can read with no glasses required! The staff did a great job of making me feel welcome as well. I have just completed cataract surgery and having lens put in my eyes there. So far I've had a very good experience from having them to deal with my insurance to make an appointment. I find they're good on time with appointments or as close as I can be. Time is pretty important to everybody. The staff from the eye clinic to the surgery center have been very understanding and kind and informative to my scaredy cat nature.Dr Mahootchi is well knowledge in his skills as well as his associate. I'm very excited to see where the surgery will take me. And I know the only time will tell with that it's still too soon after the surgery to really comment on the outcome. But so far I'm okay.

On June 18/2023 I had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Ahad Mahootchi. After consulting with three known Ophthalmologist/Cataract Surgeon in the area, including Dr. Mahootchi as the last. And yes, I'm very picky . It's a difficult decision I don't know who would do the best job, who is being honest helping me choose the right IOL (Intraocular Lens). After consulting with Dr. Mahootchi, I chose him for several reasons. He is very passionate and dedicated in his specialty; he respects and listens to his patients; he has over 25 years of experience; excellent and respectful office staff as well as Same Day Surgical staff.
