I had a really challenging situation with my elbow and forearm. Travelled up from Maryland to see Dr. A. Despite the fact he’s a flight away, he seems to be taking care of most of the baseball guys I know down here. Which was reassuring. I was struck by his calm nature and kind manner. We are doing surgery in November! Something tells me I’m going to be alright. Maybe even better.

Drove down from Boston with our son, a top college pitcher, for a special MRI and consultation with Dr. Ahmad. This doctor is known as being the best in the business. We were not in any way disappointed. Imaging was efficient and fast, and Dr. Ahmad sat with us for a long while explaining our options and his diagnosis. We are going to opt for surgery in the coming weeks, as unfortunately the type of tear he has in the UCL does not respond well to non op treatment.
