I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Guttmann. I liked his clear and nonsense approach to my care. He told me exactly what would happen and he also shared exactly what I would have to do to fully recover from my shoulder surgery. He has answered all of my questions very clearly, and I’m grateful we have a surgeon like him here in our little town of Taos.

Dr. Guttmann was refreshingly conservative in his diagnosis. I had a choice to decline surgery in favor of PT and exercises. He wasn't eager to operate in my case. I was very pleased to hear his options, and am pleased with the outcome. God Bless Dr. Guttmann! Gene Keith Ealy Jr.

Dr. Guttman suggested a stem cell injection on my injured shoulder. The specimen is collected from maternal birth. He suggested 3 months of physical therapy to coordinate with the injection. Overall it is very successful, less pain and more movement.

I discussed findings on the MRI and all options for treatment. I chose the PRP stem cell injection and am so very pleased with the outcome. I had the injection done in Taos and the staff explained everything, set up the procedure efficiently, and the entire process from start to finish was less than 1 hour. Dr. G. was clear in explaining the procedure, the possible outcomes and care afterwards. I was very pleased with the care taken in explaining and the actual injection process. I am glad I had this done by Dr. G. and his staff.

The injury was rough and the recovery was a little brutal but the surgical repair was amazing. after 6 months I am stronger and will continue on this path. I am grateful the Dr Guttman was my surgeon.
