Dr. Edward Joseph Madrid, MD

Dr. Madrid has been both my daughters pediatrician since they were born. He is an excellent Pediatrician and when needed his office has been available on weekends and holidays. I never have had a problem getting an appointment the same day as I call, if needed. My daughters love Dr. Madrid and he ALWAYS makes them feel at ease.

Dr. Madrid has been our children's pediatrician since they were born. Our oldest son is now 20, our daughter 18, and our youngest son 17. We first met Dr. Madrid at Chandler Regional Hospital and he was the pediatrician on call. We "thought" we would just go to a regular family doctor with our kids, but loved his bedside manner so much we switched to him. He was checking our newborn son and located a heart murmur. Turned out to be pretty serious, sent us to specialists immediately and had that all arranged, etc. The doctor that checked on our son at birth, did not detect any of that. After a year, he was healthy and his issues have now gone away. Thanks to Dr. Madrid for being so thorough. Also, he makes the kids feel at ease, is friendly with them when you go to his office and he remembers conversations and past issues that help with current issues with kids. We would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Madrid to any parents with children, without hesitation!

Dr. Madrid is a fantastic doctor. We have been coming to him since our son was born. He always makes sure he spends the appropriate amount of time with us and he always makes an accurante diagnosis. Not only does he take care of what we need him to do he also finds time to crack a few jokes along the way. Humor is key for a Pediatrician. The only negative I have is that sometimes you may find yourself waiting longer than anticipated. However because you are waiting to see him and only him (not another doctor that is not familiar with your child like other offices) you may have to wait because he's spending time with the patient before you.

My son has asthma and he has managed to keep us out of the Emergency room and urgent care by providing my family with fast and caring treatment. My kids love and adore him and his staff.

Dr. Madrid and his entire staff are wonderful!He has been both of my kids Doctors since they were born...so 14 years. He listens, and explains everything. I dont have to keep returning to him to find out what is wrong with my kids. He and his staff are friendly and caring and willing to answer any questions, and they actually talk to your child and acknowledge them. I can't express enough how happy we are as a family with him and his staff!!

First off he conviced me that my 1 month old babies cradle cap was a fungal infection. Then when I filled the prescription I thought it sounded like a lot of medicine for a 1 month old infant. Before giving it to her, i called the office to confirm the 8 cc that the script called for. Turns out his assisstant made a mistake and it was only supposed to be 1 cc a day. That was too big of an "oops" for me. I decided not to use the med at all and just brushed her hair with olive oil and the flakey skin disappeared. No drugs needed.

I have been taking my boys to see Dr.Madrid since they were born and are now 10 and 12. He is the best, he listens and thinks out of the box. If he doesnt know he will tell you and get you to someone who he feels can help you. The office staff is always helpful and call back very quickly. I have referred several people who always tell me how great he was! You will not be disapointed!!
