A total joke .....: Complete waste of $ & time!

I am extremely grateful to both Dr. Kofina and Dr. Narene. I was introduced to this group by my GYN after being diagnosed with severe endometriosis, uterine fibroid, cycts and adenomyosis . I saw several other fertility doctors who thought my situation was grim and having a child was less than a 5% chance. Especially being all of 35 years old at the time. I must say Dr. Kofinas took me under his wings and literally went out on a limb and promised me a baby :-) I am blessed to announce that after my second round of IVF treatment and 4 surgeries later, I have a healthy baby boy. Now, I have read several reviews, some great and others ...... not so great. I cannot denounce what anyone else feels but I will say to you that this group of doctors should definitely be at the top of your list. They are compassionate, reliable and diligent.

Let me start off by saying “I’m 4 months pregnant”!!! We didn’t think this was ever going to be possible, but Dr. Montez and Dr. B made it happen! Thank you to RoseAnn, Sade and the rest of the staff at the Staten Island office. You all have become like a family to my husband and I. We couldn’t thank you enough for all the support and love you gave us. Thanks for always being available whenever we had questions. I would recommend Kofinas Fertility in a heartbeat to anyone looking to start a family. - Jamie & Miguel

Run away from this doctor and his entire clinic. They run an operation that takes advantage of people's emotional state when they are dealing with infertility. They request unnecessary procedures and pressure you into doing them by using scaring tactics. Be careful, do not accept what they say, get a 2nd opinion. In my case they scheduled me for an endometriosis surgery even though my test results were all normal. They said they suspect I have it, but cannot know for sure and said that surgery is the only way to check if I have it or not. I don't have it. This is typically checked by an ultra sound. After going to a different doctor, the doctor explained that there are many unethical fertility groups that will subject patients to surgeries and unnecessary treatments just to make money. I feel fortunate to have understood this and not gone through with the surgery. Besides the surgery, the group of doctors, led by Kofinas attempted to "upsell" additional services without which they said… that they will not do an IVF. Please run or at least get a second opinion. From a cost perspective when I started my tests the cost was estimated around 13k, but after all these unnecessary procedures they almost forced and tried to pressure me to do, the cost went up to about 25K. Stay away from this money hungry group that doesn't care about your health or your pregnancy, and just wants to rip you off by subjecting you to painful procedures and operations. RUN! I'm glad i did.

Dr. George Kofinas and his staff are amazing. Thank you to him, we had baby boy over a year ago with first try of IVF. Just made an appointment for baby #2.

I came to Kofinas Fertility Institute after two years of trying to conceive. After my first consultation with Dr. Brezchffa and Dr. Kofinas, I was quickly diagnosed and my autoimmune issues were, for the first time, taken seriously as impeding my ability to get pregnant. Needless to say, I was successful after my first round of IVF! Dr. Kofinas and his team are extremely thorough, caring, and patient. I would highly recommend this practice.

I am incredibly grateful to the entire staff at Kofinas for their compassionate care over a several year period. I first went to Kofinas for IVF after having been to another clinic where I felt not only uncared for but abused. I was so relieved to be welcomed by the wonderful Dr. Brzechffa, who was very kind and encouraging, and really took the time to listen to me. I tried IVF once in the summer of 2014, and was unsuccessful. It was very disheartening. But the staff at Kofinas helped to give me the courage to try again, and this past fall I did IVF with success. I worked closely with Dr. George Kofinas, who was willing to try a slightly different method with me, since I was having a very bad reaction to the progesterone injections. I really appreciated that he was willing to be flexible with me. And now that I am 9 weeks pregnant, after so many years of trying, what can I say? I am filled with gratitude for the gift I have been given, and the care I have been shown. Today was my last… visit at the Kofinas clinic and I hugged a great many people, doctors and nurses alike. This is a very special place.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr.Kofinas clinic, the doctors, the nurses and the front office were all great to work with, especially during such an uncertain and stressful time of my life. Thank you all very much for your experience, compassion and commitment that brought me to where I am now. I am happy to say that I am pregnant and God willing will deliver a healthy baby next May. I sincerely can not say enough wonderful things about all doctors and nurses at the clinic. They really do go that extra mile to help make your dreams come true. I am forever grateful and will never forget what they did for me! :)

My husband and I had an excellent experience here and would highly recommend to anyone going though this process. All of the Doctors are extremely knowledgeable and experienced. As anyone going through this knows, its an extremely stressful time and process and Dr. Kofinas and ALL of the other doctors (you get to see all of them throughout the process) were extremely patient and available.
