I went to Dr Young for a consultation after being referred by my urologist, in order to schedule a Rezum procedure. As usual, after filling out pages & pages of questions detailing my complete medical history, I was again asked by his nurse, and then again by the doctor. The usual repetitive time-wasting drill. After that was over, he then went into a long dissertation about prostate issues and treatments. Then he refused to work with me! Why? Because (a) I wasn't wearing a mask! Why didn't he say something at the outset? Aside from that, his manner is arrogant and patronizing. Highly NOT recommended.

I had the Rezum procedure...an outpatient procedure. It was easy & safe.

It was the best decision. After three weeks from the time Dr. Young did the procedure, I was no longer using the folly. It was a long three months. Thank you Dr. Young you gave me back my independence. Highly recommend Dr. Young and his procedure of Rezume.

I am very active here in The Villages, FL with biking, kayaking and golfing. My problem with peeing all the time was affecting those activities. I had a Rezum prostate procedure performed by Dr. Young and his staff and the results are very satisfying. I can now take normal bathroom breaks and they now don't affect my activities anymore.

Nice to finally see a Physician that takes his time and that is easy to talk to. He makes a patient feel at ease!

This procedure clearly did not work for me. Following the procedure, I spent five months being prescribed an antibiotic and having to self-catheter. My urine stream initially felt like it was improving but I struggled to get more than 4 to 6 ounces at a time and my frequency also never showed much improvement. As I went into the sixth month I decided to have the TURP procedure done, and that clearly should have been my first decision. I had virtually no pain, I never had to self-catheter and I now urinate between 12 and 14 ounces with a strong stream. The REUZM procedure may work for other people but after being told by Doctor Young that this procedure would solve my BPH problem I gave it a try and was miserable for five months. To be fair I admit that Doctor Young and his staff were very friendly and I always felt there was a positive spin on my visits, however the procedure I paid for was unsuccessful.

After receiving a dire prognosis from The Villages Hospital's callous urologist, I went to see Dr. Young based on a friend's glowing recommendation. Two months after Dr. Young preformed the Rezum procedure, I went from urinating with with blood and extreme difficulty, to peeing like I was a teenager. In addition to being a skilled urologist, Dr. Young is kind and compassionate. He even gave me his cell number if I had any concerns after the procedure.

Due to an enlarged Prostrate after being treated for Prostrate cancer, it looked like I would be on Flowmax for the rest of my life. However, after consulting with Dr. Young and undergoing the Rezume procedure, I am no longer on Flowmax and have a very a very healthy urination.

Extremely satisfied with the results of the REZUM prostate procedure & the expertise of Dr. Young, who showed great attention to every detail of my procedures. I no longer have to take Tamsulosin & have none of the problems I was experiencing before the REZUM surgery. My entire experience with Dr. Young & his entire professional staff has been excellent. I'd certainly highly recommend Dr. Young as a highly skilled urologist!
