Dr. Nelson Randolph Ploch, MD

Although I’m have an appointment set at a particular time, I generally have to wait sometimes up to 1 hour. This doesn’t bother me, if he’s late from surgery, I happy he’s setting a priority and caring for the surgical patient. If his office visits are not running on schedule, it’s understandable.

Time mangment needs to be in place with overlap support

Really knows his stuff. Was able to diagnose my issue and perform the procedure needed to alleviate the issue. Is often quick with visits, but he is one of the emergency doctors for a local hospital. He and his office are all easy to work with. Can't recommend highly enough.

I'll be 50 years old very soon, and as time marches on, I feel extremely fortunate to have Dr. Ploch as my urologist. He takes the time to explain things in a very personal way where one can connect with immediately. I definitely recommend him!

I’ve had 4-5 appts w Dr Ploch. Unless he’s performing a procedure, you better get your questions in early because he’s not going to be there long. Checks his phone, “oops, got an emergency, gotta run.” The last time I was there, it was to discuss an upcoming elective surgery. In no time, he had to leave. I said “doc, I’ve got several questions!” He said to call back and ask the nurses; they will answer them. I did. The tall, thin nurse (I knew the name) dissed me, saying if I had questions, I should have asked the doctor. She was only the nurse. This infuriated me; I subsequently cancelled the surgery and have not been back. Currently looking for another urologist.

It's a very relaxed, light, and calm environment, which you cannot say about most medical offices. I am beyond grateful to him and his staff for all they have done for me and the support they have shown me.
