Dr. Quang Tat Nguyen, DO

No compassion, elderly on a budget. My daughter had a medical emergency and I missed my appointment. Now for further care I need to pay $50.00 penalty. DO NOT GO HERE

Dr. Nguyen is great in my opinion but the practice has been growing and changing and I often did not get scheduled with him any more. Some of his staff are not as knowledgeable and made specific incorrect medical claims during my appointments. You might do well to prepare for retaliation if you embarrass his staff by calling them out on their incorrect medical claims.

I have stage four renal cell cancer. I am also Type 2. I met with Dr. Nguyen twice. Both times he was mad and angry and vented at me, slamming me and my oncologist who is world renowned and tops in his field. I said all meds have to be approved by my oncologist, as I'm going through experimental treatment. He blew up at me and threaten not to give me any meds. I asked him to get in touch with my oncologist and discuss things with him. He acted like I was affronting him and his experience as a doctor. He made it all about him. He is a pompous, arrogant, mean, nasty SOB. I don't go to a doctor to be abused.

It took me about 3 months to finally get into Dr. Nguyen but I'm so happy I waited! He's worth the wait! (Almost gave up tho). He doesn't miss a thing, and calls you back for a follow up on an important issue, aside from your regular appt. This is one of the few doctors in town who doesn't have his hand on the door ready to walk out, he makes sure you understand everything before he leaves you!

Waited 3 months to see this doctor, told him all my problems after i was referred to him by my primary doctor. Told him everything and he ordered labs, had to wait and wait and wait and wait in pain. Finally goes back and he looked at the results all confused, act like he dont understand what hes looking at, did not give me eye contact at all and then he ordered more blood test. Had to wait for those then i get the results over the phone which is better than going back to the office like i should had done but the resulta came back normal. I question of course now it would be normal because im up and okay some days and alot of days im in pain. Ive called several times left several voicemails and nobody will call me back. I get lucky when i press a random number and get somebody that can explain to me why he ordered me second labs? Why he couldn't tell me what he was looking at so confusing? Why he couldnt help me the first time and not order second labs and see its normal and say… "everythings normal now go get a secondary opinion" which he has no idea how long i waited to see him in the first place. Why nobody is calling me back? Whats the point in having a voicemail ? This doctor should had sat with me the first time go through my results with me tell me whats going on and tell me ways to help me or how to soothe the pain in any way and not order new blood work amd hope the next set is normal so he can say " oh everythings fine" "go get a secondary opinion" WHEN I NEVER GOT A FIRST.

he was an hour and a half late, did not introduce himself or apologize for being late! I have thyroid and diabetes he barked at me the entire time and talked to me like I was an idiot, he is rude and condescending!

I called the office and left a voicemail after hearing the message which said it would be 48 hours until someone got back to me. I also filled out the online contact form. No one got back to me. After a week, I called and left another voicemail. No one called me back. As someone who is ill and calling to get medical treatment, it makes my depression worse to have lost two weeks attempting to make an appointment. Worst customer service ever.

Very knowledgeable! Answered all my questions and found something my family doctor missed!

Very knowledgeable about diabetes. I felt better starting the day of his new medicine and insulin program for me. Easy to communicate with. He listens and explains things in a way that you can understand.

Has the bedside manner of Satan! If you want to be belittled and scolded for being a diabetic this is your place.
