Fabulous bedside manner. Very thorough trying to figure out my concerns. Liked him so much my husband is seeing him Now too. At the surgery center, I was bruised on both hands and my arm from the tight blood pressure cuff. But the staff and facility were top notch. Definitely recommend.

This was my first colonoscopy and Dr. Akerman went thru the entire process and answered all my questions and went smoothly.

Dr. Ackerman provides a very calm, low key persona which is a very comforting feel! Would definitely recommend for any needed GI procedure due to his excellent bedside manner, coupled with excellent procedure knowledge!

I had my first colonoscopy a week ago and was extremely nervous. Dr. Akerman and the staff at DHAT in Allen were amazing. I received nothing but kindness from each and everyone on staff there. They were understanding in my concerns and answered all of my questions. I am beyond grateful for their time, effort, dedication and patience.

Colonoscopy performed without any complications. Dr. Ackerman and his staff were all wonderful!

I had a great experience with my first colonoscopy. Scheduling was easy. I was given multiple dates and locations to pick from. I filled out required paperwork and did not have to go in for initial consultation. Prescription was ordered well in advance. I received clear instruction on the prep and a few appointment reminders. The procedure was on time. Dr. Akermam had great bedside manner. He explained the process well and was very pleasant to be around. He followed up the next day to ensure I didn’t have any complications. I would recommend!
