Dr. Tammy Ann Harvey, DO

I have been a patient of Dr Harvey for nearly 3 years and her level of care for her patients is unmatched. Dr Harvey is incredibly thorough and compassionate, I have never once felt rushed or unheard. She is persistent in identifying the root cause of symptoms and thorough in all explanations of treatment. I would highly recommend Dr Harvey for anyone seeking an allergist/immunologist in the New Orleans area.

I don't think there's enough words to express how wonderful Dr. Harvey is but I'll give it a try. My daughter is twenty four and was diagnosed with asthma when she was a year old. In addition to her pediatrician she has been to numerous doctors, Allergist, and Pulmonologist throughout the years. All they did was prescribe inhalers and maintenance medicines for her asthma and occasional steroids and antibiotics for respiratory and sinus infections. Not one doctor took the time to order blood test on her until we found Dr. Harvey. The first visit she did allergy testing on my daughter and sent her for blood test. Dr. Harvey discovered the root to all of her sicknesses throughout her life was due to a compromised immune system. Something that could have been found early on in her life if just one doctor did a simple blood test. Thankfully she has a treatment plan for her and I'm certain with time and patience she will have my daughter on the road to a healthier life. Dr. Harvey focuses… on the best and effective way to treat the problem while ensuring all medicines and treatments are cost-effective. She doesn't rush the visits and will not leave the room until she explains any lab results and course of treatments she feels is the best to take. She takes her time and answers any and all questions you ask. Her staff is wonderful and are always friendly. Dr. Harvey is a blessing and I highly recommend her to anyone who may be in search of a new doctor. I promise you my daughter and I are so happy we found her. Anyone who gives her a bad review is definitely someone no doctor can please.

She has helped us with our daughter’s allergies and eczema so much. She used to be sick all the time and now she is so much better. Wish we would have found her sooner!

Dr. Tammy Harvey is an absolute angel on earth. Her passion for the practice of medicine and the love shown to her patients exceed that of any I have seen in my 64 years of life. Dr. Harvey exemplifies excellence in every area of her practice. She illustrates true professionalism, genuine care and concern for her patients, renders clarity in explaining details and overall is the best doctor anyone can possibly be fortunate to call theirs. Dr. Harvey is truly exceptional!

I feel like I need to take a moment to shout out this amazing doctor I've been seeing. In no way do I want anyone to think I'm trying to give medical advice, but I would like to share my experience... I've always struggled with getting sick easily, allergies, you name the weird thing to catch, and I get it! A friend recommended Dr. Harvey to me. I had never been to an allergist or immunologist before. Dr. Harvey has been AMAZING. She's the first doctor I've ever had that takes the time to listen to me, shows genuine concern, wants to get to the root cause of how I'm feeling and doesn't blow me off! This week I of course got sick. One of my normal things that happens to me every year at least once or twice a year. Something I've just learned to deal with because what else can you do. I was truly touched by Dr. Harvey's reaction when I came in to see her. I've never had a doctor tell me things like: "I'm SO glad you came in! You did the right thing! I definitely needed to see you! This… is not ok and we're going to fix this!" She's truly a kind and beautiful soul, and I would truly recommend her to anyone.

Very kind doctor who helped me to feel much better! She spent a lot of time with me and explained why I had been getting sick so much. I am very glad I found her so I finally know what’s been going on with me.

Just received a phone call 30 minutes before my visit to tell me that did not accept my blue cross plan !!!! False advertising on website

She spent a lot of time with me and addressed a lot of different issues I was having. I didn’t feel rushed and she made sure I understood what the plan was. I am really happy I found her! She has helped me get to the bottom of a lot of symptoms I’ve been having for a long time. I have recommended her to family and friends.
