For the first time ever having a surgery, I was obviously afraid. But the process was explained to me and I went ahead and did it. If I'd had known how great I would feel afterwards, I'd have done the surgery sooner. It took several months of rehab but I'm now near 100% recovered.

I was treated with great care and concern from the Dr.Patel and staff.

From day 1, Dr. Patel's diagnosis was exactly correct. What I appreciate is that he was not in a rush to do the surgery on my hand but was willing to try therapy first and rule out any other possibilities. His attention to detail is above and beyond what I expected -I have high expectations to begin with. His team is also very attentive and I appreciate everything that has been done for me from my first visit, through therapy, surgery, more therapy and now, my final visit. His technique with the surgery has given me back the use of my dominant hand.

i would not hesitate to come back to Dr. Patel should the need arise. he and his staff work diligently to give you the best service. i would not hesitate to recommend New York Hand Surgery to family and friends. Additionally, i was seen the same day i needed to be seen; whereas, other doctors asked that i wait until the following week.

A bad wrist fracture is no fun and I feel like I got the best possible car.

Dr. Patel was attentive to my needs given my first surgery with another doctor didn't well. I noticed major improve over the last 3 months after the surgery.

I feel so lucky to have had a doctor like Dr. Patel. Even though I had a lot of trauma to my elbow, I never doubted my recovery because I trusted Dr. Patel completely. He was attentive, always listened and answered my questions, and supported me every step of the way. Beyond that the whole team at his practice and the attached OT practice are wonderful. If I had to spend a year rehabilitating my elbow, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I was grateful to do it with such an amazing team to support me along the way.
