I went to a previous eye clinic, Pike Peak Eye Care to be specific and the service I received was awful, I did not get the service or the proper exam I expected, so I decided to find and look for a different eye clinic which I found, that eye clinic was Eye Associates of Colorado Springs, do I schedule an appointment to get my eyes checked, exam again, and wallaa, thank GOD I follow my instincts, the eye exam I got from Pike Peak Eye Care was 100% completely off from the one I received from Eye Associates of Colorado Springs, thank you Eye Associates of Colorado Springs and thank… you Dr. Marta Holley-Walz for your outstanding job, care and service.

I travel 70 miles every year for at least the last 20 yrs. to visit Dr. Walz, ever since she figured a way to get me back into contacts after allergies to some solutions for 8+ yrs. I couldn't give her up when she stopped coming to the closer clinic in Limon. Best ever!

No waiting time before my appointment. All staff very prompt and professional. Dr Holley-Walz very easy to talk to and explains things well.

Marta is great. She is knowledgeable, caring and puts you at ease. I have implicit trust in her ability. My problem is with the financial policy of the practice generally. The $50 fee for the refraction seems like extortion. 99% of people go to the eye doctor for glasses so they can see well enough to work, drive safely and read a good book when they’re done for the day. Yes, it’s important to be checked for eye disease or cataracts. But primarily we want our prescription updated for quality of life. This practice takes the position that if you want your glasses, cough up the dough. God only knows how much they’re billing insurance as well. In any case, I paid. You paid. And unless there is a mass exodus away from this practice, we’ll just have to accept this extortion in order to see clearly.
